Vampires step openly into the world and take the freedom and dominion long denied to them, and lesser creatures of the night follow in their wake. What history recorded as an age of hardship becomes something else entirely as folklore proves to be fact.

The story follows Coen, a young man transformed into a Dawnwalker, a being caught between mortal daylight and the predatory night. His family’s survival hangs on the choices he makes, and each of those choices carries a cost measured against his own humanity. The central tension runs through every decision: whether to hold on to what remains of his mortal self or to draw fully on the curse that now defines him, and whether the people he loves are worth what saving them demands.

Progression is built around two distinct gameplay identities tied to the cycle of day and night. In human form, Coen relies on swordplay and potent magic, fighting with mortal limits and mortal precision. As a vampire, he moves with supernatural freedom, ignoring gravity and overwhelming enemies with raw predatory power. Players may charge directly at their goal, invest in preparation, work alone, or seek out allies among people and creatures with agendas of their own. Inaction registers as clearly as action.
