KYOTO XANADU -the Blooming Phantom- is a story-driven action RPG that combines high-speed real-time combat, urban fantasy, and character-focused storytelling in a supernatural version of Kyoto, where ancient traditions and modern life exist alongside hidden dimensions inhabited by terrifying creatures. After a mysterious phenomenon known as the Blooming Phantom begins distorting reality across the city, ordinary citizens become caught in unexplained incidents while powerful monsters emerge from another realm. Drawn into the crisis by fate, the protagonist discovers a hidden power and joins a secret organization dedicated to protecting Kyoto from supernatural threats while uncovering the truth behind an ancient force that has begun to awaken.

Players are free to explore a beautifully recreated Kyoto featuring iconic shrines, historic temples, vibrant shopping districts, peaceful residential neighborhoods, scenic bamboo forests, and culturally inspired landmarks. The city changes throughout the day and night, offering opportunities to interact with residents, strengthen friendships, complete side quests, and participate in optional activities before venturing into dangerous supernatural dungeons hidden beneath the city’s surface.
