GreedFall II: The Dying World is a large story-driven role-playing game developed by Spiders and published by Nacon. It is the sequel-prequel to GreedFall, but its story happens before the events of the first game. The game expands the universe with a bigger world, deeper politics, and more complex character relationships. In this game, you play as a native from the island of Teer Fradee who is kidnapped by explorers and soldiers from the Old Continent. They take you far away from your homeland to the continent of Gacane, where many powerful factions are fighting for control.

The continent is suffering from chaos because of wars, political conspiracies, and the mysterious Malichor disease, which is slowly destroying civilizations. While trying to survive in this unfamiliar land, your character must build alliances, escape captivity, and uncover the truth behind the forces controlling the continent. Throughout the story you will meet nobles, rebels, scientists, soldiers, and tribes. Some will become allies while others may betray you. The decisions you make during quests can change political relationships, determine who lives or dies, and influence the future of the continent.
