But for the characters… I like them more than anyone in 5, which is not hard. But they still feel like instead of being a set of characters in a game, it’s a tabletop DnD game and everyone’s made a character on their own, without consulting the setting at all. It’s chaos. Everyone feels very out of place beside each other. This wasn’t a good thing, and yet it seems like they went out of their way to do this. The heck were they on?! But as nonsensical as the characters are, they are likable enough. Majolene feels like she gets less screentime and attention compared to the others, which makes me fear she’s only here to attract a specific demographic. Though every character is okay, they all feel familiar in the worst of ways. It feels like they have YET AGAIN recycled old characters into these ones. Repeating the same qualities. Basically we have a party made up of Laharl, Gordon, Mid-boss, Seraphina but with her money side split off into an improved Hoggmeiser.
