i was very happy hearing about this game as i love backyard baseball, though i don’t understand why this game is lagging so bad. literally every pitch lags the game and if i’m batting then i miss due to the inconsistent speed ups and downs. i don’t know if i will refund the game as if the issues get fixed then it’d be very worth it, just being able to play with a controller makes this game so much better. Overall i think that the game is a fun time and great on most things, i just literally can not play it in its current state, though i don’t know if this is an issue with my laptop or what.
Biggest issue in the game: fielding and defense is absolutely broken and unfun.

I like being able to use the old click mechanics and WASD for fine control, but fielding is extremely difficult. More often than not, the kids will just watch a ball go right by them. When not selected, the kids will not auto run or position themselves and this is a big issue. It is insanely difficult to catch a fly ball and throwing to certain bases seems laggy. I have had many weird baserunning glitches. Players just freezing in place, then suddenly being marked out, players literally standing in front of a hitter, the ball completely disappearing on defense and it just means all the CPUs auto score since there’s no ball to play. This is super frustrating.
