Aegis, a mysterious automaton masterpiece, must confront the king’s army alone to save history in this challenging action-RPG. In terms of specifics you can pick between a handful of amazing looking body materials, a selection of wigs, and some pretty decent looking faces. You can choose from one of four starting classes – Bodyguard (Tank, Hard Hitter) Soldier (Pure physical DPS, some reach).

The cosmetic customization options in character creation are rather limited but come together to make a pretty fantastic looking character. In Steelrising you play as Aegis, an automat bodyguard assinged to the queen, you are taking up their role and stepping into their shoes. The game doesn’t offer you a large amount of freedom to change who the character is or all that much of what she looks like because, I assume, the devs want you to experience the story of Aegis while playing as them. So, that said, I get the reasoning behind their choice.
