Before I continue, I want to tell the devs 3 things. Fix the grammar in the game. Many pieces of text in the game have poor grammar. I would have loved to fix this for ya’ll for free. There’s a game breaking bug. In the room with the ladder on the top floor, the player has the option to close the door and latch it from the inside. However if they do this, later on in the game, that door cannot be opened from the other side of the room (towards the climax). I had to literally resume the game from a save point that was so long back. So much progress had to be redone and honestly it was a pain in the ass. Please fix it.
The update for the controller support has a bug. The button to put the torch away, cannot be re-used to bring the torch back. I had to use T on my keyboard to bring back the torch many times. Now for the review, this game is a lot of fun… but mostly for people from Kerala. It’s fun to see a game with Malayalam, with scenes from Kerala, and callbacks to many nostalgic things we love. That was fun,
