After several attempts, Samson finally revealed that his power came from his uncut hair. Delilah betrayed him by cutting his hair while he slept, which caused him to lose his strength. He was then captured, blinded, and imprisoned by his enemies.
In the final part of his story, Samson’s hair begins to grow back, symbolizing the return of his strength. During a public event, he is brought into a temple filled with Philistines. There, he prays for strength one last time and pushes down the pillars of the temple, collapsing it and killing both himself and many of his enemies. This act is seen as both revenge and sacrifice. The story of Samson is often interpreted as a lesson about strength, faith, weakness, temptation, and redemption. It shows how great power can be lost through poor choices, but also how redemption is possible even at the end.
