Cellar Keeper is a dark and atmospheric management-adventure game that combines underground exploration, resource gathering, crafting, base building, and survival mechanics. Players become the caretaker of an old subterranean cellar that has been neglected for generations. Beneath the dusty storage rooms lies a much larger network of tunnels and forgotten chambers, turning what seems like a simple maintenance job into an increasingly dangerous underground expedition.
The cellar acts as the player’s central headquarters. Players can clean and restore abandoned rooms, organize storage, construct workshops, install lighting, reinforce entrances, and create dedicated areas for crafting and resource processing. Expanding the facility provides additional room for equipment and supplies while also opening access to previously inaccessible sections of the underground complex.
Exploration is an important part of progression. Players venture through abandoned mines, underground forests, crypts, collapsed tunnels, forgotten laboratories, and ancient ruins in search of valuable materials.
