” I’ve played the game for 7 hours today (between Oculus store and Steam) and the only thing preventing me from playing longer is that my headset is dead.If you haven’t played Boneworks this game could be a bit intimidating for you. The lore isn’t spoon-fed to the player, so it may feel like there isn’t much of a story. With the SLZ games, part of the fun is piecing together to story and lore outside of the game. It’s a lot like the original Valve games in that sense. The game mechanics are HEAVILY physics based, which can again be rough for people who haven’t played Boneworks. When trying to move things around or trying to climb up ledges, it’ll be jarring and difficult at first. Once you figure it out and get a hang of how the game plays, you’ll wonder why every single VR game isn’t made on this game engine. The puzzles can be difficult, and there’s nothing wrong with looking up pointers throughout the campaign. As of writing this review (the day the game released) there’s only two major issues I have, and one minor one.
