This is an excellent port of the classic flash game, adding lots of additional content, challenges, and polish to a cherished tower strategy game. Defend your base from waves of increasingly tough to pop balloons by using a series of unique, upgradable monkey tower units. This features all of the content from the original release of Bloons 5 with modern features and a lot of extra content. The graphics in particular are much sharper compared to the flash version and runs smoothly in widescreen. Lots of new maps are unlockable and there are unique bonus units obtained by completing challenge missions and achieving special tasks. The game is still being updated as of this review, meaning even more content to explore. There is also an online co-op mode that uses unique, two sided maps that lets you work together with a friend to survive the onslaught of balloons. This game is worth it’s cheap asking price and often goes for $1 during sales. Do yourself a favor and pick this up to relive hours of wasted school time or to fall in love with a flash classic for the first time.
