Ambitious. Needs more time in the oven. Early early-access. The game engine is somewhat novel for the adult genre (a blend of traditional scenes and third-person 3D isometric) but that novelty involves embracing various limitations not present in more established solutions like Ren’Py or RPGMaker. Event timing is not evenly distributed or logical; pathing (since you can’t actually move in the overworld) is a bit of a mess; camera zoom control is limited (hiding navigation tiles); an irrelevant fps counter is permanently shown on the screen; and most locations are placeholders and will refer you to their Patreon. Story-wise, it is somewhat well written within the limitations of a game loop where scene text will repeat constantly; and when it doesn’t, you better be playing attention as there is no dialogue history. Probably best not to think too hard about the setting – as the game is a very loose interpretation of Norse culture and practices seen through a kaleidoscope.
