Vade Retro : Exorcist Free Download

Vade Retro is a PvP exorcism game up to 4 player. Play as Demon and make your opponents go through hell, or join the exorcist team by choosing a specialty to save victims from the devil’s grip in this action-packed experience. Interesting game but for now it needs too much work to be worth recommending. The price is rather low though so take this with a grain of salt. There’s no proper tutorial yet (will be changed though) so you’ll be wondering wtf is happening. In any case the interactions with the demon are goofy as hell. Often times either you or the demon gets ragdolled into a corner of the room without being certain what caused it. The objectives are boring and very vague too. Lobby system is pretty broken with no way to filter and it often lands you back in the main menu. Also when a match is over the lobby is closed and you’re back in the menu as well. As of now the host is the demon and the joining players are exorcists. VOIP was broken for me, players couldn’t hear me and i couldn’t hear them. I have mixed opinions when it comes to horror games. Some nights I’m feeling them and others not, sometime’s I want to play the less scary one over the worse one, but Vade Retro had a great mix. It was both fun and entertaining as the monster and exorcists. It was challenging and frustrating, as well as rewarding and re-playable. The game mechanics were a little tough to get the hang of at first, but like I said we skipped the tutorial so as expected I guess, but by our second game as the monster or the exorcist we were starting to get the hang of things, able to sneak around or run away, or the hardest part, understand how to use our utility.
