Food rations long before that. Immersive christ. i’ve been super curious about this game since i’ve seen some content from the fandom, at first glance all i saw was this bandaged guy with no skin and some stuff about mouthwash. it had a cool art style so i looked at the game page, saw the trailers as well as some interesting reviews. so, decided it would be a fun game to spend a night or two playing. in hindsight the reviews make allot more sense now. after playing this game i feel like vomiting and sobbing my eyes out but i’d recommend this to anyone who likes good art because god, this story was incredible. Storytelling Pay attention to your surroundings Psychological Scares Your eyes are lying. Unforgiving Narrative Hope to die, or for goodness sake, pray that everyone else did.

Who could have known what good ol’ Captain Curly was capable of? Guess he thought his crew dying alongside him was only right. But some men can’t even kill themselves properly. Maimed, limbless and unable to speak, but alive, Curly is now at the mercy of the crew he has doomed to a slow death. I bought this game expecting a wacky cosmic horror with people turning into monsters after drinking mouthwash. What I got was a character drama exploring the horror of human depravity and narcissism. Because you don’t need cosmic horror mouthwash to have a person become a monster. This game has stuck with me, my thoughts keep wandering back to it, and any game that does that is worth recommending.
