Cloud meadow, it that type of game you play and forget. I don’t mean in the sense of that it’s forgettable. No no, the opposite ,the fully animated scenes( and art style ), turned base combat and exploring was fun and amazing. I never really got into the farming aspect that much tho, since I didn’t see the meaning doing so, since I already at that point, beaten the “game”. But that bring me to the point of “play and forget”, I will leave this as an positive review, because for what it is, it was worth my money and time. What saddens me tho is that I don’t have high hopes for the future of this game. Based on the current update rate and looking at the “road map” the developers sure are taking their sweet time and the game will probably be fully released in 2030. I can’t help to feel that the developers are spoon feeding the audience updates like “more monster variants to fight” to make it look like they are working on progressing the story and to keep our attention. In their most recent update and as of writing this review, they have started to enter Act II. I didn’t buy this game when it came out. But if it have taken them four years to get from Act I to Act II.. I wouldn’t say that this game is dead or abandon ware but  they are keeping this game barley alive.

Congratulations, you’re finally a Frontiersman! You’re being sent on a special assignment- to venture out into the wild unknown and aid a diverse community of colorful characters. When I was done with Act I, I was left longing for more. Only to realize that the developers are super slow to update this game and other games they develop. I get it, they are working on other games and with a limited workforce etc etc. But the game came out 4 years ago as of this year 2024. If this is intended to be like other games that have “Acts” in them. Maybe four Acts can be expected before the game is completely done Not everything is sunshine and rainbows though, poachers are disturbing the natural ecosystem of the frontiers you have sworn to protect. Team up with your monsterfolk partners to fight back those who seek to exploit the land on behalf of their own greed. Equal parts farming simulator & turn-based RPG, there’s always something new around the corner! Here are just a few of the things you can do in Cloud Meadow.
