Absolutely satisfying for fans of Marfusha, Snezhinka prequel. Gameplay is simple but very fun. The world building and story are intriguing as well. For me the most stand out thing in the series is the developer amazing skill at creating characters that’s unique and likeable. Even though each character have very limited interaction and screen time, it’s written very well to make player cares for them and what’s going to happen to them, especially because the series world is very harsh and unforgiving. The original Marfusha is a very simple twin-stick side scrolling shooter. There wasn’t much depth, but what it did, it did well. Snezhinka is more of the same but better. Marfusha was short with a single campaign without too much variety other than weapons and different enemy types. While Snezhinka does not drastically expand on this, it adds enough new elements from weapons, to environments and upgrade cards to vary up the experience as well as additional scenes when replaying the campaign. Easy purchase if you want a simple no thrills side scrolling shooter or if you liked the original.

This fast-paced shooting game can be enjoyed with a controller or a mouse and keyboard. The controls are simple: you’ll only need to move, aim, shoot, and use gadgets.
