I saw it was cheap and looked interesting, not even knowing it was a spin-off. Then I wishlisted the main game as soon as I got to the ending, lol. It’s perfect for the price point. Very short and sweet; the mystery was cool, the dialogue was pretty funny, and the art is really good. My one complaint is that I wish there was an indicator for if an interaction would give new dialogue, or if it would just repeat/it’s something you’ve seen before. I’m still definitely going to buy Staffer Case when I get the chance. Hard for me to have much of an opinion about because it’s so short. It’s a good bite sized experience to see if you’d either be interested in a much longer trip into the world of Staffer Case, or inversely if you loved staffer case so much you want another 0.5 of a case. don’t know if outside of the context of the larger game, of which this was originally designed as DLC for, I can put too much merit into this game alone.
