Kingdom Hearts fan, I’m sorry to report that at the moment all the ports are complete trash. People claim AMD users are the only ones having trouble. They are wrong. I’m using an nvidia card (3080), and should reasonably have no problem handling what are effectively PS2 and PSP games. However, despite my best efforts I can’t seem to stop KH1, KH2, BBS, and DDD from dropping a ton of frames, stuttering, and freezing. I have tried every fix you could find on google. It does not work. I have these same collections on console and the difference in quality is very noticeable. To make things worse, I have lost a lot of progress on multiple occassions because the game crashes when trying to save, or transitioning between areas. Good luck winning the Hades cup in KH1 when the game just decides to implode halfway through round 20. The DDD port in particular stutters so bad, and the audio has so many artifacts it’s basically unplayable. Do not bother spending any money on this until they fix these problems. You are better off playing these games on other platforms.
