I would definitely suggest not calling it a full release, very janky mechanics, story is pretty much all over the place. But again, no one really plays zombie games for the story. lot’s of great potential, and i firmly believe i’d like to give the developer a chance to update the game and add what the community would collectively like to see. The huge hordes are a fun time. adding the npcs to be infected would also be a pretty cool update to have. but so far only playing for 2 hours i’ve had quite some fun with the game. -If your looking for something 100% complete or exactly like “project zomboid” then this game is not for you. Can’t compare project zomboid to a game that’s different on its own. Great game, cool idea, love the art style. Loved that they plan to do a survival mode later. First 20 minutes good game, outbreak was awesome actually had me running for my life 9/10. Then we get to the quests/story and unfortunately this is where it goes downhill. This was my note when i gave my refund: “The game is very bare bones. Not much “surviving”, instead its “do this”, “do that”. The zombies become less scary very quickly. Weapons break too quickly, I don’t want to feel like I have to pick up every weapon I see because mine could break any second. The story it off… Cant find my sister, check here (good), not there, check here (good), not there check here (unlocks north campus) (still got me hooked). We need to leave the campus (great). I get a follower (cool). Follower acts heroic for my benefit then tells me I have to find his.
