Detective – Scene Crime gives the player a chance to investigate 5 crime scenes to determine who is dead and who killed them. You evaluate the evidence by scanning a static scene to find hotspots which can be examined. Once you have determined the specifics of each crime, you answer questions in your journal and receive a grade based on the number of correct responses. If you get something wrong, you can try again (and again) until you have an A+. Examples of evidence include wallets, documents, weapons, voice mail, text messages, etc. Body positions are marked with chalk outlines and numbered. You are likely to need a pencil and paper for taking notes. The game saves automatically when you exit. If you have completed your journal and return to the crime scene, some of your entries will not be retained. But, your most recent grade will persist.
