A wacky Punch-Out!! style game made in RPGMaker of all things is an insane concept, and I’m amazed they were able to pull it off as well as they did. It’s a little janky, to be honest, but not enough to really detract from the experience overall. There were definitely problems I had initially regarding the difficulty and some glitches, but bringing it to the dev’s attention allowed them to roll out some hotfixes almost immediately, P. S. You can hold attack buttons instead of pressing them to save your hands from pain! Rosa be able to be happy? And will she be together with Samon?! Make your decisions and come to one of three shocking endings. One-on-one duels with MMA elements, punching and kicking, knocking your opponent to the ground and finishing him off in the parterre. Beat em up multiple opponents in Beat em up style, crush your enemies with the juicy sounds of punches and blood splatters in this arcade street fighting simulator!

What starts out as a fun take on anime high school tropes quickly evolves into something much darker and disturbing, with the “bad” ending being an absolutely stellar segment and a highlight of the game, reminiscent of Hitchhock and Argento works. Great writing all around, catchy soundtrack, memorable visual style and fun combat system. Absolutely unique experience like no other. Jokes aside, this has been on my radar for a while now, and I’m definitely not disappointed.
