Crashdamage and he has possibly the most boring presentation and costume I’ve ever seen in a superhero game (a black tank top, wow, so cool…not) Voice-acting is mostly uneven or not great, with Rebound’s (the purple-haired female) voice-work the most cringe-worthy at times. I appreciate having the voice-acting but this is always a risk. Character graphics are odd, they look bizarrely plastic to the point you almost feel you’re playing a game using plastic dolls. And the fact that you cannot create your own character is certainly a small disappointment as well. I like the cool team-up abilities idea in combat so that was one nifty innovation, though Marvel Midnight Suns thought of this in a slightly similar way too albeit in a more minimalistic fashion. The game badly needs more background ambiance and audio and it could’ve really benefited from some sort of base-building feature, too.
