Currently unplayable in its entirety without applying the developer’s patch, as to abide by Steam TOS. Anyone willing to look past this, should take the game’s tags to heart, as it is sexual in nature, including darker sexual themes and fantasies. I have seen people argue that depicting such themes is inherently distasteful and should be banned even in fantasy. While I agree that they are distasteful, I also believe that as long as they remain within the realm of fiction and do not cross into illegality, they should not be forbidden. Fictional atrocities are not the same as real ones, and the distinction matters. For those who nevertheless enjoyed the game despite its flaws, I wholeheartedly recommend the sequel (if you haven’t played it through other means yet) once it comes out on Steam. It is a major improvement over many of the first game’s issues. Balancing is much better, the art style feels more distinctive (still a bit asset-flippy at times, but more cohesive overall), everything feels more fleshed out and there is simply more to do.
